Welcome to The Captain Charles Leonard House
We are proud to continue the tradition of hosting our community that started here in 1805. Now the House can be rented for a range of special occasions, including celebrations, wedding receptions, baby showers, bridal showers, family parties, holiday parties, club and organization meetings, business meetings, banquets, luncheons and dinners, funeral receptions, and more.

Minerva Davis Meeting Room
The Minerva Davis Room is a spacious room that seats up to 48 guests. With large windows, it has a bright and airy feel. Rental is for six hours and includes use of The Tap Room, the catering kitchen, and setup and teardown of tables and chairs before and after your event. Any additional decorating and cleanup time should be factored into the six hour rental period.
The Minerva Davis Meeting Room was redecorated in 1998 to authentically reflect the Federal Era elegance of the house. It was named in honor of Mrs. Minerva Davis, who restored the Captain Charles Leonard House and opened it to the public as Agawam's Community House in 1939. Prior to 1998, the room had been decorated in the knotty pine that was in vogue during the 1930s. The Davis Room features a piano and an ornamental fireplace that incorporates design details from both North and South Parlor mantels.
The Davis Room can be arranged in a variety of configurations and is ideal for meetings, conferences, luncheons, dinners, recitals, and concerts. Direct access is available from the Davis Room to both the Tap Room and the Catering Kitchen for efficient food service.
A non-refundable 50% deposit is due at time of booking.

Entire First Floor
Rental of the entire first floor includes the The Taproom and the Minerva Davis Meeting Room. With access to the entire first floor, we are able to accommodate up to 75 guests.
Rental is for six hours and includes access to the catering kitchen, outdoor space, and setup and teardown of tables and chairs before and after your event. Any additional decorating and cleanup time should be factored into the six hour rental period.
